Valley of Fire! Sure was hot as fire. 114 degrees but, it was a dry heat. Yikes! Did a little hiking there but it was intense. ITrails were closed due to the heat anyway. I was thankful the Element held up and didn’t over heat.
Really great place to shoot photos. The formations are really something else to drive thru.
From there, I stopped and spent the night in a hotel again. To hot to sleep in the Element. St George, Utah. I’ve been thru there twice before. This time it seemed so much bigger for some reason.
Up and drove just for just a bit today. Here in Colorado City. Just over the border into Arizona. I find that funny. Crazy thing about the little town is, it was established in 1985. I asked what it was that established the little town. She didn’t really know.
Has a brand new grocery store though. Only 5 years old. It’s really cool. Coffee Shop, a Deli, Burger joint and a wine/beer bar upstairs. You will see the photos at the table outside on the balcony where I was having lung. Open til 10 pm as well. I could hang here on a regular basis. Actually, there isn’t anything else to do from what I can tell. I mean, why else would I be taking photos and writing about a grocery store.
Going to try and sleep in the Element tonight. Hope it cools down.
Tomorrow, I’m off to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Until then
That grocery store surpasses Kwik trip! 😍
You sure have covered a lot of territory and landscape!! Enjoy your photos 😃
