Had to stay in a Hotel again. Just to cold. Have to figure out a heating system

Hwy 65, Grand Mesa Scenic Byway, from just east of Grand Junction to Delta.
Grand Mesa is the largest, flat-topped mountain in the world, spanning 500 square miles and rising between 5,000 feet and 11,237 feet of elevation.

Detoured to Lands’ End Observatory… Muddy and snowy roads… the Element AWD did great…. A lot of fun.

Pulled off to a staging area for Cross Country Skiers… A bunch of kids playing La Crosse in the parking lot after skiing… It looked like a Ski Team.
I met Sherrion and Sid. The live in the area. Have an Element. They have the back seats out. Sleep in it. Great people.
More happy Element owners

Tonight in Montrose. Here last year. Came up from Durango on the
“Million Dollar Highway – The 550”
Tomorrow will be taking the opposite direction… a whole different point of view with snow this time.

That will bring me down to the south west corner of Colorado so I hope things warm up.

Some good shots today.
