Day 22 June 26
Bemidji MN
Walked around Bemidji for the most part today. Stopped at a couple Local Coffee Shops. Cantabria Coffee Co and The Cabin Coffee House & Cafe.
I met Amanda Rae while listening to the live band in the park. A fellow Nomad as well. She likes to just go whenever she can and go in a general direction like I do.
She was recently on a road trip Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota and back home to Minnesota. Also, a trip to Tettegouche Minnesota State Park, Grand Marais, Gooseberry Falls and ran the trail to Fifth Falls in northern Minnesota.
Amanda likes the west but would like it better if it had more water. (Lakes) It’s understandable growing up in, “The Land of 10,000 Lakes. It was nice meeting you Amanda. Thanks for chat.
Photos of Paul Bunyan and Blue. The river in my family’s back yard. Hamms Beer would have a cut line, “Brewed In The Land of Sky Blue Water.” Yes indeed.
