Left Tolsa OK on the 24th. We headed to Kansas City. Hung out with Ron, Lyn and Matt most to the day. Stopped and parked near a residental area where we found a nieghborhood bar. Got something to eat and hung out for a couple hours. I left, heading north while they stayed over night to leave for home. Ron Indianapolis. Lyn and Matt Denver.

Stopped in Fairfield IA. Maharishi International University. I practice Transendental Meditation but have never been to the University. It was really cool spending a few hours with teachers and tour the campus.

I slowly made my why to see, Kim. A good friend whom I met; 1993 in San Antonio. Kim now works at, “Red Barn Resort and Campground” in Lansing IA. Cool little town on the Mississippi. Voted one of the best views in Iowa.

Hung out, BBQ’d on Wednesday. Went down to the river to take photos of the Super Moon. Got there a bit late to get the ful affect of the moon but still some great pics. The bridge crosses the Mississippi. West side, Iowa. East side Wisconsin.

Next day woke up to rain and temps that dropped 20 degrees from the day before. (75 to 55)

Before leaving I had to stop at the local coffee shop. An old grain mill on the bank of the Mississippi. You can see the grain shoots on the ceilings in the photos. Place has charactor. I bet it is nice and cozy in the winter.

A great visit with Kim before heading north to St Cloud MN, where I grew up.
Mom will be 100 in Aug. Her garden is planted she is ready for the summer. Photo of her sitting out in the cool Minnesota evening air. She looks like one of the three wise men at the manger.

So, that’s it for now. Left San Antonio only 10 days ago but, it seems like weeks. Every year is a different feel and perspective. Waking up with a different view out my window everyday. It’s an amazing thing living out of a converted camper van.

I am not posting every day as I have in the past four years. At least not yet. Just going with the flow of things this fifth year. As I said four years ago, my writing style is out of the ordinary. More stream of thought. I told you my goal is to become a better writer and your goal is to understand my writing… Hope it is getting easier for you

Until next visit.
Peace
